Oppo has recently introduced its latest A-series smartphone, the Oppo A2, in the Chinese market. This release follows closely on the heels of the Oppo A2X, which made its debut just two weeks prior, and shares many of its key features with the Oppo A79, which was launched in India last week.

The Oppo A2 features a spacious 6.72-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate for a more enjoyable viewing experience. The front camera has been upgraded to 8 megapixels, while the rear camera setup boasts a 50-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens for capturing stunning photos.

Under the hood, the Oppo A2 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset, coupled with 12GB of RAM and ample storage options of either 256GB or 512GB. It runs on the latest Android 13 operating system with ColorOS 13.1 layered on top.

To keep you going throughout the day, the phone is equipped with a generous 5,000 mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging.

Moreover, the Oppo A2 is designed to withstand daily challenges, being rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance. It’s available in three stylish colors: black, green, and purple, offering choices to match your style.

The base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage starts at an attractive price of CNY 1,699 (approximately $232), while the 512GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,799 (around $246).

For those interested, open sales for the Oppo A2 in China begin on November 6, providing a compelling option for smartphone enthusiasts.
