Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon recently confirmed the chipsets featured in the upcoming Galaxy S24 series during an earnings report conference call. It appears that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will have a significant presence in the Galaxy S24 series, which is expected to launch soon.
This suggests that the reports about the Galaxy S24 Ultra exclusively using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, regardless of the market, are likely accurate.
The reasoning behind Qualcomm’s prominent position in the Galaxy S24 series becomes apparent when considering that the Galaxy S Ultra is the highest-selling model in the S series.
Additionally, reports indicate that North American variants of the S24 will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. On the other hand, it seems that the Korean and European versions of the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will feature the Exynos 2400 chipset.
Samsung has also hinted at the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s impressive ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace technology, which will be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, reinforcing the notion of the Ultra model exclusively using Snapdragon technology.
