Lava launched the Lava Blaze 2 4G back in April, and today, they’ve introduced the 5G version in India during an exclusive online event. The Lava Blaze 2 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6020 SoC and comes with two storage options, 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB, with expandable storage of up to 1TB using a microSD card. Plus, the phone offers a dedicated slot for your microSD card.
When it comes to software, the Lava Blaze 2 5G runs on a clean Android 13 out of the box, free from annoying ads and bloatware. Moreover, Lava pledges two years of regular security updates and an upgrade to Android 14. The phone also features an anonymous call recording option and auto-call recording.
In terms of display, the Lava Blaze 2 5G boasts a 6.56″ HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate, offering a bright viewing experience with a peak brightness of 450 nits. The 8MP selfie camera is discreetly placed in a centered punch-hole.
On the back, you’ll find a distinctive circular island housing two cameras: a 50MP primary camera and a VGA camera, along with an LED flash and a unique Ring Light. The Ring Light can blink in blue to alert you about app notifications, calls, and battery charging status, and you can adjust its brightness.
To keep you going all day, the Lava Blaze 2 5G packs a 5,000 mAh battery that charges through a convenient USB-C port at up to 18W. Other standout features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM 5G support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Hi-Res Audio for an enhanced audio experience. The phone comes in elegant Glass Lavender, Glass Black, and Glass Blue color options.
For pricing, the 4GB/64GB model is available at INR 9,999 ($120/€113), while the 6GB/128GB version is priced at INR 10,999 ($132/€125).
