Meizu has officially confirmed the key specifications of its much-anticipated Meizu 21 ahead of the grand unveiling scheduled for November 30 in China.
Display and Design
The Meizu 21 boasts a remarkable 6.55-inch OLED screen provided by Samsung, featuring a “1.5K” resolution, SGS low blue light certification, and 1,920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The display is elegantly framed by symmetrical 1.74mm bezels on all sides, promising a visually immersive experience.
Powerful Performance
Under the hood, the Meizu 21 is equipped with a 4,800 mAh battery, optimized for efficiency with the energy-saving OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset (confirmed), and Meizu’s OneMind 10.5 AI engine. Impressively, the device achieves endurance levels comparable to or surpassing batteries with a capacity of 5,100 mAh or more.
Endurance Testing
Meizu conducted rigorous endurance testing, with the Meizu 21 lasting an impressive 8.2 hours in extreme conditions. In contrast, an unnamed competitor sporting a 5,100 mAh battery managed only 7.4 hours in the same demanding test.
Rapid Charging Capability
Building on its stellar features, the Meizu 21 is expected to support 80W fast wired charging, according to its earlier 3C certification. This hints at the device’s ability to quickly recharge and minimize downtime for users on the go.
As the November 30 launch event approaches, the Meizu 21 continues to build anticipation, promising a perfect blend of cutting-edge technology and user-friendly design. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new addition to the smartphone market.
